PACT is a community engagement program created by the St. Joseph Board of Education and led by community volunteers. PACT was charged with studying the challenges faced by the school district and building consensus on a set of recommended solutions. Hundreds of community members worked for more than a year through PACT to develop a set of recommendations that were delivered to the Board of Education in June, 2011. PACT is now gathering feedback from the St. Joseph community about the recommendations and will present the results of this effort to the Board of Education in 2012.
