Each open house will offer the same information and opportunities, and each will follow the same format. The open houses are designed to allow community members to come and go according to their own schedules. Upon arriving, each attendee will receive a packet of information describing the experience. Attendees will move through several informational stations at their own pace. These informational stations will provide facts and figures about the challenges facing St. Joseph School District and the recommendations made by PACT for addressing them. All attendees will have the opportunity to discuss these challenges and recommendations with volunteers from PACT, as well as school facility experts and SJSD staff, administrators and Board of Education members. Everyone attending an open house will also have the opportunity to complete a feedback form before leaving.

Over the next few months, PACT will continue to share information with the community about the recommendations made to the Board of Education in June, 2011. It will also continue to gather community input on ways these recommendations can be strengthened. Results of this process will be presented to the Board of Education near the end of 2011 or the beginning of 2012.
